A classic up-do is usually our style recommendation if you have a formal gown and want something to compliment and not overpower your look. The classic up-do’s are the French twist, Chignon, high or low bun, side or low cured pony, barrel curls, ringlets, and pin curls. You can also add a unique twist to any of these styles to give it your own personal touch.

When you’re an edgy girl, you like a little spunk in life! Maybe your dress is a little more 'high fashion' and has a little color to it. Wouldn't you want to make a statement with your hair too? Or maybe your gown is very classic and simple and you want to add some dramatic flair to your hair? Edgy up-do’s can make a significant difference in your overall look. This is usually your very best friend or close family member you chose to be your right hand girl. So you want her to stand out a little bit from the other girls. When it comes to the rest of your bridal party, their hair should be similar to one another or even exactly the same, depending on hair type. The worst thing in pictures is to have everyone’s hair to be out of place, inconsistent, and look unorganized. It's ok for them to be unique in there own way, but all girls should stay in the same range of looks. Example what not to do: Have one bridesmaid with hair down with long, flowing curls and another with hair up with knots and braids. They are two completely different looks that do not match and would clash on stage and in pictures...especially if they all have the same dress on.
